Asterigos: Curse of the Stars is an excellent-looking Soulslike action RPG, and its release on PS5 and PS4 is imminent, with the adventure set to begin on 11th October. The fast-paced combat matched with the wonderful ancient fantasy aesthetic got our attention. The version we got to play allowed for one skill to be tested per weapon and had Talents for further combat customisation of Hilda. The title offers range of weapons including sword and shield, daggers, spear, hammer, staff and bracelets. We checked out the game earlier this year, where we got a hands-on experience. The developer Acme Gamestudio believes it’s “a fresh take on the modern action RPG genre” according to the Steam page. The action adventure promises soulslike gameplay elements with a simple yet dynamic combat system. With the exact release date for Asterigos not confirmed yet, it will be interesting to see where this new action-RPG lands among Sony’s packed list of upcoming releases. The game is inspired by Greek as well as Roman mythologies, including mythical bosses and legions. Trophies like Bystander and Treasure Raider are only tricky. The more challenging ones are only unlocked after completing some challenges. Many of these trophies you can earn by naturally progressing the game.
